Calcular taxa de amostragem para gravações - como funciona
Com algumas fórmulas, você pode calcular a taxa de amostragem para gravações de áudio. Dependendo do seu objetivo, uma taxa de amostragem diferente pode significar um tamanho mínimo de arquivo com o máximo benefício.
Como calcular a taxa de amostragem necessária
A frequência de amostragem ideal da sua gravação de áudio depende do que você valoriza: Cada taxa de amostragem é um compromisso entre a qualidade do som, a inteligibilidade, o tamanho do arquivo e a compatibilidade:
- Em geral: como a conversão das taxas de amostragem raramente funciona sem perdas, você deve sempre executar todas as etapas na taxa de amostragem alvo.
- Isso afeta a gravação, reprodução e edição, como cortar e adicionar efeitos.
- Isso significa uma taxa de amostragem de 44, 1 kHz para CDs de áudio e normalmente de 48 ou 96 kHz para DVD e Blu-Ray.
- Caso contrário, aplica-se o teorema de Nyquist-Shannon: A taxa de amostragem fₓ deve ser pelo menos duas vezes maior que a frequência crítica fᵨ, ou seja, a frequência mais alta a ser registrada, ou seja, fₓ> 2 × fᵨ.
- Se você deseja escolher a taxa de amostragem para não exceder um determinado tamanho de arquivo G, use a seguinte fórmula:
- Você pode calcular o tamanho do arquivo G de uma gravação PCM, ou seja, de arquivos WAV ou AIFF não compactados, da seguinte forma: G = D × fₓ × número de canais de áudio × tempo de gravação, em que D é a profundidade da amostra e o tempo de gravação é fornecido em segundos. Para MP3 e AAC, você pode esperar taxa de bits G × tempo de gravação.
- Diferentemente da taxa de amostragem, a profundidade da amostra é a mesma. Mais bits não podem prejudicar a qualidade, na pior das hipóteses, ocupariam desnecessariamente muito tempo de computação e espaço de armazenamento ou seriam incompatíveis com hardware barato.
- É até comum que os efeitos de áudio digital calculem 32 bits internamente, mesmo que você tenha apenas 16 a 24 bits.
- Se você precisar de uma precisão temporal menor que 23 µs, defina a taxa de amostragem maior que 44100 Hz.
- Os DVDs suportam até 192 kHz para mono e estéreo e pelo menos 96 kHz para mais canais. O Blu-Ray suporta até seis canais de 192 kHz ou até oito canais de 96 kHz. Verifique se o seu dispositivo de reprodução também domina taxas de amostragem tão altas.
- Na Apple, apenas alguns dispositivos têm uma taxa de amostragem de 192 kHz: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 ou 15 polegadas a partir de 2013), Mac Pro (a partir do final de 2013), iMac (21, 5 polegadas, meados de 2014) e Mac mini (final de 2014 ).
- Uma taxa de amostragem de 32 kHz é a qualidade das fitas de áudio que não gravam e reproduzem todo o espectro audível, mas atingem cerca de 14, 5 kHz.
- Para obter uma boa inteligibilidade de fala com arquivos pequenos para gravações de voz, é adequado gravar a uma taxa de amostragem de 22050 Hz com subsequente conversão para MP3 ou AAC com 56 a 64 bits por canal.
- Com uma taxa de amostragem de 8 kHz, você não alcança a qualidade das transmissões telefônicas ou de algumas mini-máquinas de ditado.
- A propósito: Para gravar o tom puro das melodias, independentemente da qualidade do som, cerca de 1400 Hz é mais suficiente para homens, e 1800 Hz para mulheres.
