Antes de programar com a placa Arduino, o driver deve ser instalado:
- Faça o download dos drivers e do IDE no site do Arduino.
- Se você ainda não instalou o Java Runtime, digite o comando "apt-get -y install openjdk-6-jre libjna-java libjna-java-doc" e "apt-get -y install extra-xdg-menus",
- Agora conecte a placa Arduino ao PC via USB, o driver agora deve ser instalado automaticamente.
- Inicie o IDE com "cd arduino; ./arduino". Em "Ferramentas" → "Porta serial", selecione a porta à qual a placa Arduino está conectada.
- Para poder se comunicar com a placa através da interface serial, digite o comando "usermod -aG tty $ USERNAME usermod -a discagem $ USERNAME".
